⚖️ Server Rules

1. General Rules

  • 1.1. By joining the server you automatically agree to these rules and confirm that you have read them. Ignorance of the rules does not exempt you from responsibility.
  • 1.2. To help players with in-game issues we have a『⏳』ticket system. Please note that the ticket must be filled in according to the form given in the channel, and no more than one ticket per tribe (related to the same issue) may be created — otherwise it may be ignored or closed by the project Administration.
  • 1.3. All tickets/reports regarding the use of cheats, aimbots, headshots, bugs and the like will be reviewed ONLY if solid evidence is provided! Tickets without evidence will not be reviewed. The project Administration takes an extremely dim view of the use of cheat software. Respect yourself and other players!
  • 1.4. Demonstrative/public disrespect towards the project Administration, negative criticism or discussion of the Administration’s actions in a negative light is prohibited. Slander and the spreading of false rumours about the project or its Administration is prohibited. Slander, misleading the Administration and calls to leave the server are also prohibited.
  • 1.5. It is forbidden to impersonate an administrator or to use nicknames of the Administration (the list of the project Administration can be found in Discord).
  • 1.6. Trading, any attempts at trading (including “jokes” in chat) and hints at selling any in-game items for non-game currency are prohibited.
  • 1.7. It is prohibited to deliberately or indirectly harm the online population of the project.
  • 1.8. The Administration reserves the right to ban/mute players who are extremely aggressive/toxic/hostile towards the project or other players, without giving reasons.
  • 1.9. Players who disagree with the server rules, or who aggressively dispute the rules applied to their situation with the Administration, may face additional penalties at the Administration’s discretion. The methods and duration of penalties for players violating the rules may vary at the discretion of the project Administration.

2. Exploiting vulnerabilities and defects in the game code

  • 2.1. The use of programs, scripts and third-party software that give any advantage over other players is prohibited.
  • 2.2. Intentional or repeated use of bugs/glitches/dupes/vulnerabilities of the game, mods or plugins that grants any kind of advantage is prohibited.
  • Examples of violations of this rule:
    — Abusing unintended building mechanics (e.g. floating structures, structures inside each other, etc.)
    — Using the Dedicated Storage bug to create a level 1 creature
    — Using dupes in any form, as well as storing duped items/dinos
    — Using any vulnerabilities/glitches of mods/plugins/the game in the open world.
  • For violating this rule, the punishment may be applied to all members of the tribe, regardless of their involvement.

3. Questions regarding compensations and reimbursements

  • 3.1. When setting up a server, the Administration uses the game code provided by the developers. All installed plugins and mods are tested as thoroughly as possible for their impact on server stability. Based on this: the Administration does NOT restore loot/dinos lost in the Data Upload or in game as a result of “server lag”, “bugs”, “being kicked from the game, woke up naked”, “falling through the textures” and other reasons not directly related to the actions of the Administration.
  • 3.2. Only items and creatures purchased in the in-game shop are restored, provided that their loss is related to a server malfunction.
  • 3.3. The Administration may decide to restore in-game valuables to players that were lost due to direct actions of the Administration (changing plugins, removing or adding mods without warning players).
  • 3.4. Items/creatures lost when a player dies after logging out somewhere other than a bed and/or without dropping their loot are not subject to restoration. When leaving the game it is recommended to log out lying on a bed and to store your inventory in a box/vault/safe/dino.

4. In-game Building

  • 4.1. It is forbidden to build and/or place turrets in the following locations:
    — Character respawn points (spawn points)
    — On large resource deposits
    — In caves with drops and artifacts
    — At the surface exits (Aberration)
    — All obelisks and terminals (including caves with terminals) on the maps
    — x4 Explorer Notes
  • 4.2. It is forbidden to have more than 1 main base (+1 water pen) on a single map when the tribe has fewer than 5 members. If the tribe has 5 or more members, 2 main bases (+1 water pen) are allowed. If the base was built in/on water, it will itself be counted as the water pen and all other structures on land will violate this rule. (On Aberration, the Element Farm counts as the water pen).
  • 4.3. The use of any bugs when building or moving structures is prohibited, as is building so-called RatHalls, places outside the map boundaries, or behind the visible world grid.
  • 4.4. You may place structures outside your base when necessary, but they must be removed immediately after use (exceptions: open teleport points / sleeping bags / Gas Collectors / Oil Pumps / Tree Sap Taps / wooden platforms next to a Tree Sap Tap — these structures may be left outside the base). All traps placed outside your base must be removed after use! It is also forbidden to place structures that block the terrain (spam), unless they were placed as the beginning of your base. In addition, when installing two or more Oil Pumps / Gas Collectors / Tree Sap Taps you MUST leave at least one of them open for other players.
  • 4.5. If your base has an open teleporter, you must provide an open exit on foot so that players can leave the base.

5. In-game Moments

  • 5.1. Insiding is prohibited. Insider complaints will only be considered from the Tribe Owner and when the nickname of the traitor tribemate is provided.
  • 5.2. It is forbidden to deliberately block passages to obelisks, terminals, or the respawn points of unique dinos on the map.
  • 5.3. It is forbidden to hinder or interfere with players taming/killing dinos, running caves with drops/artifacts, or farming resources. Whoever first traps a dino is considered its owner. If a dino is tamed passively, the owner is whoever feeds it first.
  • 5.4. It is forbidden to aggro wild dinos onto other players and their structures, to pick up other people’s dropped loot, loot from player corpses, dinos and structures, as well as griefing in any form.
  • 5.5. It is forbidden to be within render distance of, or inside, a boss/titan arena summoned by other players, except when selling a boss run.
  • 5.6. It is recommended not to leave tamed dinos outside your base; they may be removed by the Administration if they interfere with other players’ gameplay.
  • 5.7. Building any structures next to another tribe’s base or cave entrance (spot) without that tribe’s prior approval is prohibited. In disputes over ownership of a spot (cave), it is deemed to belong to the tribe that first occupied the entrance; if there are several entrances, to the one that occupied and built up the greater number of them. In any disputed situation (block builds), priority is given to whoever built their structures first.

6. Trading

  • 6.1. Deception is prohibited — all trading must be completely fair.
  • 6.2. Giving away any property between players or tribes for free is prohibited. This includes boss kills and boss runs. Any attempt to sell anything for a symbolic price is also a violation of this rule.
  • 6.3. It is forbidden to use roundabout methods of transferring property. For example: “I’ll buy gunpowder from you, and you buy stone from me”.
  • 6.4. It is recommended to record all trades on video or take screenshots.
  • 6.5. It is forbidden to escort players to bosses for free or to arrange so-called “boss runs” free of charge. Rates for boss runs can be found in the table. Both parties will be punished for violating this rule. You may escort another player to a boss for free only if you both have that boss’s engrams unlocked and the summon kit (trophies and artifacts required to summon the boss) was gathered together.
